The Rituximab significantly lowers level of glycated hemoglobin and required less insulin
Researcher believed that only T-lymphocyte autoimmunity is the major role in immunopathogenesis of type 1 diabetes mellitus, but nowadays growing evidence conclude that B lymphocyte also play a crucial role in many T-lymphocyte Mediated diseases, for this researcher developed the drug rituxmab ,an anti-CD 20 monoclonal ,which depleted CD19+ B lymphocytes. The Rituximab significantly lowers level of glycated hemoglobin and required less insulin.
