Rosiglitazone the group of Thiazolidinedone (TZD) which is widely used as anti diabetes drugs shows beneficial effect on Atherosclerosis.
According to the journal The effects of Rosiglitazone on aortic atherosclerosis of cholesterol-fed rabbits ( Thrombosis Research, Volume 123, Issue 2, December 2008, Pages 281-287)
proved that Rosiglitazone the group of Thiazolidinedone (TZD) significantly reduce the aortic atherosclerosis with out affection the plasma glucose and insulin and there is also no change of cellular component like macrophage and smooth muscle cell and also dramatically improved of fatty liver.
