in treanment of hypopituitarism, we have to give the corticosteroids, thyroid hormones,sex hormones replacement(if they are deficit). initially we should give corticosteroid or we can give corticosteroid and thyroid hormone at a same time but NEVER give thyroid hormone first. why? do you have any idea?

In hypopituitarism if thyroid hormone is used first without giving corticosteroid, there may be a chance of developing adrenal crisis,because of accelerated cortisol metabolism .
