What is the diagnosis?
50 years old male patient complains of a pigmented lesion on the dorsum of the right foot for last 6 months. Initially the swelling was slow growing but for the last 2 months the swelling is growing rapidly to attain the present size. The swelling has darkened in color since last 2 months. On physical examination there is a darkly pigmented nodular solid lesion 2 cm×1.5 cm in size firm in consistency and base is indurated. The joint mobility is normal. There is no lymph node enlargement in popliteal fossa and inguinal region.
What is the diagnosis and what are the other possibilities of such a pigmented lesion?
