35 years old male presented in emergency room with the chief complaints of acute abdominal pain for 5 hours. In emergency he was diagnosed as acute pancreatitis and managed with giving pethidine and nil by mouth. On the second day of admission he developed fits for 2 episodes. Lab tests show all parameters with in normal range and
Doesn’t have any seizure disorder in the past.
Why this patient developed fits?
